What is the Advanced Health Career Program?
The Advanced Health Career Training is designed to teach students necessary skills to become a Healthcare Professional. In as little as 20 weeks students will obtain:
Certified Nursing Assistant certification. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are responsible for providing direct patient care, usually in long-term care facilities assisting residents with activities of daily living under the supervision of a nurse.
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant certification. A Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) is a multi-skilled allied health care professional that specializes in procedures commonly performed in the ambulatory health care setting. CCMAs perform both clinical and administrative duties and assist a variety of providers including physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. They typically work in medical offices, clinics, urgent care centers and may work in general medicine or specialty practices.

Advanced Health Career Training Certification Requirements
The applicant must be at least 18 years of age, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, to participate in the Advanced Health Career Program.
Applicants must also demonstrate the ability to meet each of the essential function/technical standards required to work successfully in a healthcare career.
The applicant will need to successfully complete the training hours and successfully pass all NHA certification exams.
Applicants will be required to pass a criminal background check.
Three forms of valid identification are required.
Applicants are required to be registered as an Adult Education student. If you are not pre-registered as an Adult Education student, TrainerConnect will assist with this process. All hours of adult education and a TABE score greater than 9th grade must be achieved.
You must meet the attendance requirement to complete the program.
You must have a passing grade to complete the program.
A certificate of completion for completed training hours will be awarded at the time of program completion.
A review session with the instructor will be provided prior to testing.
The National Healthcareer Certification Examination will be scheduled by Trainer Connect.
CNA License Testing will take place at a decided location.
